Palak Paneer

🥘 Ingredients

  • 500g washedSpinach (Palak)
  • 250g cubesPaneer (Cottage Cheese)
  • 1 finely choppedOnion
  • 1 finely choppedTomato
  • 1 tbspGinger Garlic Paste
  • 2 tbspFresh Cream
  • 1 tspGaram Masala
  • 1 tspCumin Seeds

👨‍🍳 Instructions

Blanch spinach in boiling water for 2 minutes, then immediately plunge into ice water (to keep it green).

Blend the drained spinach with green chilies into a smooth puree.

Heat oil/ghee in a pan, splutter cumin seeds.

Sauté onions and ginger-garlic paste until golden brown.

Add tomatoes and spices (turmeric, red chili, coriander). Cook until oil separates.

Add the spinach puree and simmer for 5 minutes.

Add paneer cubes and garam masala. Mix gently.

Finish with fresh cream and serve hot with Naan or Roti.
