Masor Tenga

🥘 Ingredients

  • 4 piecesRohu/Katla Fish
  • 3-4 choppedTomatoes
  • 2 tbsp/1 cupLemon Juice/Elephant Apple (Ou Tenga)
  • 1 boiled & mashedPotatoes
  • 3 tbspMustard Oil
  • 1/2 tspPanch Phoron

👨‍🍳 Instructions

Marinate fish with turmeric and salt. Fry lightly in mustard oil and set aside.

In the same oil, splutter panch phoron and green chilies.

Add tomatoes and cook until soft and pulpy.

Add water, turmeric, and mashed potato (thickener). Bring to a boil.

Add the fried fish and simmer for 5 minutes.

Add lemon juice or ou tenga slices for sourness. Simmer for another 2 minutes and serve.
